PAM Hotels: Enterprise Digital Signage Deployment
Project Overview
PAM Hotels (formerly RCD Hotels) operates a large portfolio of luxury resorts and hospitality brands across the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
To inform guests about property activities, dining schedules, and events across diverse locations, the organization required a standardized digital communications network. PAM Hotels hired Electronic Design Company (EDC) to engineer and deploy an enterprise-wide digital signage network using Yodeck’s platform to govern hundreds of property displays from a central hub.
Problem
Managing guest communications across dozens of international resorts creates severe content bottlenecks. As PAM Hotels acquired and built new properties, local resort teams and corporate administrators lacked a unified mechanism to update screens with daily entertainment schedules, wayfinding graphics, and promotional materials.
The organization needed a centralized software platform to enforce corporate brand standards globally while granting individual properties the permission to push immediate, location-specific updates.
Furthermore, the designated hardware and software had to scale rapidly to accommodate the company’s aggressive property pipeline without compounding the IT department’s administrative workload.
Solution
EDC engineered a scalable cloud architecture utilizing hundreds of Yodeck media players distributed across PAM Hotels’ global footprint.
Cloud Infrastructure: EDC configured a centralized Yodeck management console that connects all media players into a single enterprise network, allowing administrators to push content from any web browser.
Tiered Permissions: The system configuration separates corporate-level branding campaigns from local property operations, enabling resort staff to update daily event schedules without overriding global brand assets.
Hardware Standardization: Technicians installed compact Yodeck media players behind existing commercial displays, converting static screens into network-connected information boards.
Outcome
The digital signage deployment equips PAM Hotels with a streamlined communication network that adapts instantly to shifting daily resort operations.
Accelerated Content Delivery: Marketing and operations teams push scheduling updates, event graphics, and emergency notifications to hundreds of screens globally in minutes.
Brand Protection: Corporate administrators control visual standards across vastly different brands—from Marriott to AVA Resort Cancun—ensuring strict adherence to specific corporate design guidelines.
Rapid Provisioning: The cloud architecture allows IT staff to configure new media players remotely and ship them to newly acquired properties, instantly bringing them online within the enterprise network upon installation.
