EDC is helping place May’s Book of the Month, Because of Winn Dixie by Kate DiCamillo, into the hands of young readers in the Twin Cities Metro area. 

Join a statewide book club, and keep your kid reading with a proven classic!

Friends of the St. Paul Public Library have created the idea of One Book/One Minnesota, an online book club for all Minnesotans. The initiative is focused on keeping kids reading during distance learning, and EDC is helping out. EDC is giving away 100 free copies of May’s book of the month Because of Winn Dixie to interested readers in the Twin Cities area. 

We’ve partnered with a local independent bookstore Magers & Quinn Booksellers in an effort to support local businesses while helping to keep Twin Cities kids reading during this time of distance learning. 

With these books, EDC Solutions hopes to: 

• Support local independent businesses
• Help kids gain access to the book be able to participate
• Encourage reading across Minnesota
• Facilitate a family activity to be enjoyed, shared and discussed
  

We are asking YOU to reserve a copy of this book in order to help a child in your life continue their passion for reading. We will be arranging a pickup date at a convenient Twin Cities location.
